By using SatsNow (the website, the web app at app.satsnow.xyz and any future mobile app) you accept these terms. SatsNow is non-custodial software: we never hold, control or move your funds.
1. What SatsNow is
SatsNow is a Bitcoin-only wallet for on-chain payments in person. It does not use Lightning, stablecoins or currency swaps. It is not a bank, an exchange or a payment processor.
2. You control your keys
Your keys and seed phrase are created and stored only on your device. You are the only person who can back them up and recover them. If they are lost, we cannot restore your funds.
3. QuickPay fee
Each QuickPay payment carries a fixed fee equal, in sats, to 0.50 USD, paid by the sender as an on-chain output. Bitcoin network mining fees are separate and set by the network, not by us.
4. Bitcoin transactions are final
Once a transaction is broadcast to the Bitcoin network it cannot be reversed or cancelled by SatsNow. Check amounts and recipients before paying. For larger amounts, wait for at least one confirmation.
5. No warranty
SatsNow is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it reliable and secure, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of errors or always available.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, SatsNow and its creator are not liable for losses caused by lost keys, user mistakes, compromised devices, network fees or changes in the price of Bitcoin.
7. Lawful use and changes
You agree to use SatsNow in line with the laws of your country, including tax rules. We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
